Schulter Cup 2003

Bulletin No. 1

Pilots,

Just a note in case some of you have forgotten the dates for this years Schluter Cup in Shannon.

Dates are Sat 9 and Sun 10th August. Please let your friends know that it is an event for all pilots, the novelty rounds can be completed by any one just beyond hovering.

The tradition of the Saturday evening get together continues at the popular "Clare Inn" as per last year. Some additional work on our field this year should allow us to run 2 flightlines so ensuring that all Pilots will fly on each course and keep their best score for the finals on Sunday.

We expect a large crowd and would appreciate if we can get a few e mails from those who are definite at this stage. Accommodation is plentiful all along the "Quin Road" which runs from the "Clare Inn".

I will post a Bulletin 2 as soon as more details are available.

Regards.

Bulletin No. 2

Pilots,

Another reminder that the dates for this Years Schluter Cup in Shannon are Sat 9 and Sun 10th August.

We are expecting a good crowd this year so the event needs to get going at 10 am on Saturday to get 2 rounds flown. Only your best score on 1 round counts.

Dave Wilshere and Jamie Cole fresh from representing the "X-Cell" Helicopter range at the 3D Masters in the UK will be our guest demo pilots.

I have enclosed a file with a list of accommodation for those in need. The Clare Inn is booked but most of the guest houses have spaces. The tradition of the Saturday evening get together continues at the popular" Clare Inn" as per last Year. Price Approx E20

Please let your friends know that it is an event for all pilots, the novelty rounds can be completed by any one just beyond hovering.

I would appreciate if we can get MACI / BMFA and Channel numbers by phone or e mail from those who are definite at this stage.

Some pilots have asked for a copy of the Rules and Flight Schedules, this is available on here (http://www.modelheliservices.com/pages/flight_program.htm)

For those needing a site map it's on www.smfc.org

Look forward to seeing you there.

Regards.
Liam Broderick
